Doll Dreamer's Guild Challenge/Showcase
The Doll Dreamer's Guild is going to join forces with the Universal Doll Society,
in Texarkana next fall for an event to promote Porcelain Doll Making.
The Universal Doll Society will sponsor a Competition, a selection of workshops and meal events. The Doll Dreamers Guild will host it's first Showcase /Challenge since spring of 2005. We will also have a selection of workshops and join the Universal Doll Society at an awards banquet. This event is being planned to coincide with the Mystic Molds Show and sale.
Mark your calendars The event will begin Monday, October 13th. The Banquet to cap it off will be held on Thursday evening October, 16th. The Mystic Mold Event will be Friday and Saturday, October 18th and 19th.
We don't know if this event will be large or small because this is the first time. With gas prices continuing to go up, travel is more unlikely for many of us. We will accept mail in entries, but cannot be responsible for breakage in shipping.
